The magical flower of ancient Africa

It is known as Karo Karounde in the perfume industry.

The Karo Karounde flower is still used in magical rituals in Congo.

Leptactina senegambica Hook: Probably the rarest flower extract material used in perfumery for tile tiles. West/south tropical Africa and Sierra Leone, Congo, Mali. It is a kind of flowering shrub that is harvested from nature for the locally used essential oil and timber of Guinea, and a fragrant essential oil is obtained especially from the flowering places.

The fragrance opening notes of Karo Karounde flower are warm, floral, waxy and oriental with undertones of steamed chocolate-orange pudding followed by a delicate breeze of slightly juicy peach, ylang-ylang and jasmine flowers with a sweet nude of gardenia and towards the end a light tuberose blossom. It has a very rich and complex and absolutely full-bodied aroma resembling a sweet walnut with a hint of sweetness.
