Copal

African Copal Bark

Daniella oliveri

Extraction Method: CO2 Extracted

Africa Copal Bark is a very precious, rare, valuable and exotic extract oil. This botanical ingredient comes from a large deciduous tree found in the tropical areas of Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone etc.

The Copal Bark oil extract we provide comes from the bark of the Daniella oliveri, not the resin from the tree. This results in a full bodied statement of the essence of the Daniella oliveri tree.

Aromatic Scent: Soft, rich, earthy, with notes of milky buttery amberish, sweet caramel nuances, vaguely orientalist.

Copal Bark oil adds a complex honeyed, sweetness, and a depth in botanical perfumery.
